Evan Laedke – Piano

Evan’s musical journey began at the age of 14 with Hammond B3 organ lessons taught by Buffalo’s local blues legend, the late great Jim Wozniak. One year later, he was invited to play keys with the legendary Willie May Band (a recipient of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame) and proudly continues as a band member today. While in High School, Evan founded the band, “4inTune”, a young blues based band who played at local venues, were invited to open for national acts and participated in the 2011 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the years, he was fortunate to play with many great Buffalo based musicians including Tommy Z, Black and Blues Band, Code Blues, The Bravarus, The Funky Beets, Rusty Fisher Band, and Forever Young. He joined Miller and the Other Sinners on a national tour and is currently a keyboardist for for the Tim Britt Band. Evan enjoys working with students of different ages. As his journey continues, he looks forward to sharing his craft with other musicians and students interested in learning how to play the keyboard.
